We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a series of free virtual lunch & learn sessions throughout the entire summer season! We have thoughtfully curated an amazing lineup of topics to make this an engaging and enriching experience for all participants. May 29 | Session 1: EDI Today: Navigating a shifting landscape with Dr. Dwinita Mosby Tyler

In 2020, many organizations expressed a renewed interest in implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs to address inequities at the workplace. Fast forward to 2024, and many of these same programs are now under attack. This session aims to explore the historical underpinnings of the current backlash towards DEI, and help organizations position themselves for transformative equity work, even in the face of opposition.

June 12 | Session 2: Your EDI Questions Answered: Live Q&A with Monica Williams & Dr. Dwinita Mosby Tyler from The Equity Project

In these interactive sessions, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions related to equity, diversity, and inclusivity. These questions can be geared towards organizational challenges, individual curiosities, and/or overall guidance. We encourage you to submit a question during registration!

June 26 | Session 3: Beyond Pride Month: Supporting Your LGBTQIA+ Colleagues Year-Round with Ariana Flores

As PRIDE month wraps up, we are excited to discuss strategies and steps that organizations can continue to take all year round to support the LGBTQIA+ community. In this session we will share best practices related to developing inclusive policies, navigating pronouns, and promoting representation in your workplaces. We encourage participants to submit questions during registration that will be addressed by Ariana Flores, Equity Architect.

July 24 | Session 4: Beyond Stereotypes: Bridging Generational Divides with Quill Phillips-Carter & Monica Williams

For the first time in history, there are five generations together in the workplace! Each generation brings a unique perspective, set of experiences, and understanding of what “work” means for them. This interactive session will help participants better understand generational differences to improve communication skills, increase collaboration, and strengthen their workplace culture.  

August 14 | Session 5: Your EDI Questions Answered: Live Q&A with Ariana Flores from The Equity Project
